Incoming trends, it is now known, are anticipated not only by the catwalks, but increasingly by the red carpets of major events, and Golden Globes 2023 they are definitely one of these big events (perhaps the most important after the Oscars). Studied down to the smallest detail, the looks of the stars who walked the catwalk for the awards for the best American films and TV series also sent a clear message on the beauty trends arriving next season: the haircut it is increasingly the protagonist of the look, enhanced by the design of the dress and the make-up, often nude and delicate. From Brad Pitt’s new “heartthrob” short cut to Jenna Ortega’s shag to Lily James’ 90s long bob, here are the six Golde Globe haircuts that will be trending in the coming months.

Brad Pitt’s short “heartthrob” cut
After years with his hair slicked back with dark roots and lighter ends, Brad Pitt at the Golden Globes surprised everyone with a new haircut that rejuvenated him so much that he remembered the 1999 version of Brad Pitt as a boy (and at the same time reminded us of the collective crush half the world had on him). Blonder, with enviable sunkissed lightening, the new short cut is characterized by a longer tuft in front, styled sideways, which falls softly on the forehead, recalling the typical haircuts of 90s boys (recently back in trend like E- Boy haircut).

Julia Garner’s pixie cut
Julia Garner, star of Inventing Anna And Ozarks, ditched her curls and debuted at the Golden Globes with a new creamy-vanilla blonde short cut: it is a pixie cut with a long tuft worn to the side and perfectly combined with a pink evening dress and a very delicate make-up that contributed to focus all attention on the hairstyle. The ghd team took care of the styling, who said they used the Ghd Platinum Plus styler to straighten the hair and the oval brush to shape it around the face, sculpting it so as to fix it without creases.
Lily James’ nineties bob
Lily James also chose the Golde Globe red carpet to debut a new hairstyle: a bob with a nineties supermodel allure with side styling and bounced ends in a new dark brown shade (to be exact, we are talking about Mocha Brunette, a chocolate nuance already elected among the cult colors of 2023). Responsible for the transformation is the star’s hairstylist Halley Brisker, who explained on Instagram that she created the new bob with the help of Great Lengths hair extensions, which gave more volume to the front locks. “90s bombshell silhouette created with help from @greatlengthsusa to add volume in the front and maximize bounce!” explained Brisker describing the bob.

Jenna Ortega’s shag
The hairstylist David Stanwell, on the other hand, is in charge of Jenna Ortega’s hairstyle look /aka Wednesday Addams: a shag with curtain fringe. In detail, it is a medium cut, above the shoulders, moved by important layers, to be worn with volume on the head, slightly disheveled roots and lengths and a long curtain fringe to be opened as desired on the forehead.
Anya Taylor-Joy’s extra long cut
Contrary to the short cuts that will be all the rage in 2023, the extra long cut will also be trendy (Kim Kardashian and Gigi Hadid set the standard). How to carry it? Actress Anya Taylor-Joy gave her lesson on the navel length cut by making her hair the focus of her Golden Globes look: the lengths are super smooth, the part is central and a strand is pinned to one side of the head. Her hair color is also trendy: butter blonde.
Claire Danes’ short bob
Finally, the short chin-length bob with a graphic silhouette, extra smooth, and with a side line by Claire Danes (who debuted the tummy of her third pregnancy at the Golden Globes) is also to be copied: a refined and feminine cut, which enhances the face.
