Robert De Niro’s grandson, Leandro, was found dead in his New York apartment on Sunday afternoon. According to media information TMZ, the lifeless body of the 19-year-old was discovered by one of his friends sitting in a chair. A police source reportedly told the Dailymail that a white powdery substance had been found next to him. This same source explained that he had found no trace of violence or trauma.
On Instagram, Robert De Niro’s adopted daughter, Drena posted a photo of her son along with a painful message. “You were so deeply loved and appreciated, and I wish that love could save you. I’m so sorry baby, I’m so sorry Carlos Mare (Leandro’s father). Rest in peace and eternal heaven my darling boy“, she wrote.

He played Leo Stone, the son of Paulette, herself played by Drena De Niro. It was not the first time that the young man shared the screen with his mother.
