Who is Daniel Radcliffe?


Daniel Radcliffe is an English actor best known for his role as the titular character in the Harry Potter film series. Born on July 23, 1989, he began acting at a young age and has since become one of Hollywood’s most recognizable stars.

Radcliffe first gained recognition when he was cast as Harry Potter in 2001’s “Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone.” He went on to star in all eight films based off JK Rowling’s beloved book series over the course of 10 years. His performance earned him critical acclaim from both fans and critics alike; many citing that it was impossible to imagine anyone else playing such an iconic role with so much conviction.

Since then, Radcliffe has gone on to appear in numerous other projects including stage plays like “Equus” (2007) which won him a Drama Desk Award nomination for Outstanding Actor In A Play; horror-thriller “The Woman In Black” (2012); romantic comedy “What If?” (2013); dark fantasy adventure movie “Horns” (2014), among others. Most recently, he starred alongside Steve Buscemi & Geraldine Viswanathan in TBS’ anthology comedy show Miracle Workers where he played God himself!

Aside from being an accomplished actor, Daniel is also well-known philanthropist who supports various charities around world; some include Demelza Hospice Care For Children, The Trevor Project & Lumos Foundation. He even served UNICEF UK ambassador between 2006–2015.
