Julia Roberts is an American actress and producer who has starred in many iconic films such as Pretty Woman, Runaway Bride, Erin Brockovich and Steel Magnolias. She has been nominated for four Academy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards and two Screen Actors Guild Awards throughout her career.
Roberts was born on October 28th 1967 in Atlanta Georgia to Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. She attended Grady High School in Atlanta before moving to New York City with a friend to pursue acting. After appearing in several television commercials she made her feature film debut with the 1988 romantic comedy Satisfaction which earned her a nomination for Best Actress at the Young Artist Awards.
