This catapulted Orlando into stardom globally especially after appearing opposite Johnny Depp’s character Captain Jack Sparrow in Disney’s hit movie series Pirates Of The Caribbean where he gained immense recognition even more so than from LOTR.

This marked Bloom as one of Hollywood’s most sought out young actors during that era due to its tremendous box office success around the world.
After appearing in multiple sequels within both franchises — including Kingdom Of Heaven (2005) opposite Liam Neeson — Bloom took on a variety of different characters outside these blockbusters such as Elizabethtown (2005) with Kirsten Dunst or Sympathy For Delicious (2010) directed by Mark Ruffalo among others. In more recent years has been seen taking up comedic roles such as Zulu (2013); along with serious ones like Unlocked (2017); either way always delivering great performances that have kept audiences entertained throughout all these years.
