Shia LaBeouf is an American actor, performance artist, and filmmaker. He rose to fame in his early twenties with the Disney Channel series Even Stevens, which ran from 2000-2003. Since then he has gone on to star in a number of successful films such as Transformers (2007), Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008), Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (2010) and Fury (2014).
LaBeouf was born June 11th 1986 in Los Angeles California to Shayna Saide and Jeffrey Craig LaBeouf. His mother is Jewish while his father is Cajun French descent. When Shia was young he had various odd jobs including working at a bowling alley and making clown balloons for children’s parties. At age 10 he started performing stand up comedy routines at clubs around Hollywood before being cast as Louis Stevens on Even Stevens when he was just 15 years old.
The role made him an instant teen idol but it also brought him some criticism due to his immature attitude both on set and off screen during interviews that followed the show’s success. After finishing filming for Even Stevens Shia decided not to pursue any other television roles instead opting for more serious film roles starting with Holes (2003). In 2007 LaBeouf starred alongside Megan Fox in Michael Bay’s blockbuster hit Transformers which led to several sequels over the next few years, cementing him as one of Hollywood’s leading men capable of commanding huge paychecks. Despite still being relatively unknown outside those movies’ fan base until recently with mainstream hits like Fury starring Brad Pitt or Honey Boy based off his own experiences growing up, where Shia wrote produced directed and starred in himself opposite Lucas Hedges.
Despite all this success however there have been moments throughout Shia’s career that have caused controversy most notably incidents involving public intoxication and disorderly conduct outbursts during press tours or even some bizarre behavior such as wearing a paper bag over head during Cannes Film Festival red carpet event saying “I am not famous anymore” along with many other eccentricities that make people question if they should be worried about LaBeouf mental health state or simply view these events through comedic lens because after all no matter what happens you can always count on Shia LaBeouf doing something unexpected!
Born as Shia Saide LaBeouf on June 11th 1986 in Los Angeles California, he was raised by his mother Shayna Saide (an artist) and father Jeffrey Craig LaBeouf (a Vietnam War veteran). In 2003 he landed roles in Holes, I Robot and Constantine all of which helped establish him as an adult actor.
LaBeouf received critical acclaim for his performance as Sam Witwicky alongside Megan Fox’s character Mikaela Banes in 2007’s live action Transformers film directed by Michael Bay; this was followed up with its sequel Revenge of the Fallen released two years later. Following these successes came further roles ranging from romantic comedies such as Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps opposite Michael Douglas to more serious films like Lawless starring Tom Hardy where LaBeouf plays Jack Bondurant – one third of three brothers involved with organized crime during prohibition era Virginia USA.
In recent years LaBeouf has shifted focus towards independent films such as Lars von Trier’s Nymphomaniac Volumes I & II alongside Charlotte Gainsbourg or David Ayer’s Fury where Brad Pitt stars alongside him playing Boyd “Bible” Swan – part of an Allied tank crew fighting against Nazi Germany forces near the end World War 2.. Aside from acting Labeouff is also known for creating various art installations often collaborating with artists Luke Turner & Nastja Sade Ronkko under their collective name #Eternitywhere they explore topics around celebrity life within society today through public interaction projects using social media platforms like Twitter or Instagram.
